Recruitment Consultant, £20,000 plus Bonus – 37.5 hours

GBS Apprenticeships are expanding rapidly and are looking for both experienced and trainee Recruitment Consultants to join our team, offering not only apprenticeships but also a range of exciting new short courses in the Digital sector.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the initial stages of the students journey with GBS, so it’s critical that any candidates that apply have a keen eye for detail, confident on the telephone and like working in a fast paced environment. Duties will include but not be limited to:-

  • Promoting GBS programmes to potential students
  • Liaising with employers and candidates to arrange interviews and provide pre interview advice and guidance
  • Advertising vacancies on all job boards
  • Taking ownership of vacancies / Job specifications
  • Attending job fairs / school events
  • Delivering CV workshops on a 121 or group basis
  • Tailoring CV to specific roles
  • Provide feed-back to candidates and employers within 48 hours
  • Working closely with other departments including marketing to respond to inbound sales queries
