GBS Apprenticeships are recruiting for a privately-owned UK business, comprising of consumer focused brands offering different solutions to individuals in debt.

Their singular goal of being Here to Help has given them a unique heritage dating back 14 years which has seen the business grow and adapt to consumer needs.

There are around 300 employees across the group based in their city centre office in Manchester. Companies within the group are regulated by The Financial Conduct Authority or the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales).

About The Role

They are looking for an administrator to take ownership over a large variety of administrative tasks, mainly supporting the IVA appointments team. In this role , you will be responsible for delivering administrative support, maintaining a high level of organisation and effective communications across a variety of teams whilst facilitating the day -to -day activities of the department.

Salary, Contract Term and Employee Benefits

  • Salary: £4.30 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Progression opportunities as early as 6 months

  • 5 GCSE (9*-4/A*-C) (or equivalent) including English and maths
  • Good standard of practical application of literacy and numeracy


Desired Skills

  • You have a knowledge of insolvency and IVA’s but this is not essential
  • You have experience of organising and convening meetings as well as managing diaries
  • You have experience in a wide range of administration experience including organising paperwork, storing documents and computer-based information
  • You have experience of organising and convening meetings as well as managing diaries
  • You are comfortable in dealing with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • You are competent at packaging and distributing reports
  • You are familiar with scanning, clearing fax and printing.
