About The Role

You’ll be a Support Engineer within a team that ensures customer requests are dealt with quickly and effectively. Your professional and courteous manner will help you work closely with all parts of the business to maintain the high level of service their customers depend on.


Main responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware and software technical support to staff and clients within the building
  • Manage support requests according to their process and escalate issues when it’s appropriate
  • Liaise with customers ensuring they receive regular updates on the progress of their calls
  • Accurately record and update support calls in a timely fashion
  • Resolve customer requests in a timely fashion and work to prevent reoccurrence
  • Prioritise your workload according to urgency and impact
  • Provide support for new business pitch activity when required
  • Make amendments to network security and access rights
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of Microsoft Office 365
  • Assist with the movement of IT equipment within the business
  • Help maintain documentation and contribute to the development of better work practices
  • Help maintain accurate software licensing records
  • Help complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks
  • Assist colleagues in your team by providing guidance and technical training where required

Salary, Contract Term and Employee Benefits

Salary: £4.30 Per Hour

9am till 5pm Monday to Friday

The Apprenticeship Standard is Level 3 Information Communication Technician
